Introduction

Many people are crazy about yoga. The reason most people practice yoga is that it makes them feel better and feel more in shape. The different poses and postures make their body flexible and healthy. Yoga for most is the best natural way to relax and unwind. If you are interested in keeping your body in shape, this might be the best exercise for you.

Did you know that yoga could help fight certain illness that may come your way? There has been research that proved yoga helps you to control anxiety, reduces asthma, arthritis, blood pressure, back pain, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, epilepsy, diabetes, headaches, stress, and more.

Yoga has a lot of benefits and advantages. All in a day's work, it can reduce tension and stress. Of course, after a heavy day, you will feel that your muscles have been stuck up and you will feel wasted.

If you do practice yoga, you may see an increase in your self-esteem. It is important to gain confidence so that you may face people without worry.

Yoga is good for the body in increasing your muscle tone, strength, stamina, and flexibility. The yoga breathing techniques with deep, controlled inhalation and respiration bring fresh, oxygen-containing air into your lungs where the exchange occurs and the oxygen passes into your system, a nutrient for all of your vital organs, including your brain. Yoga puts such importance on breathing that it even specifies breathing exercises specifically for the left and the right nostrils. By breathing in through the left nostril for example, you direct oxygen-enriched blood to the opposite side of your brain, that is to say the right side, where you typically do your creative and intuitive thinking. If you want to develop your logical thought processes, then yoga suggests that you breathe through your right nostril to get your left half of the brain into action. Incidentally, either exercise will also develop the cross-brain communication as well as you work towards overall brain fitness.

Yoga for thinking as well as doing

Yoga also extends into the realms of philosophy with its concepts such as mindfulness, a technique designed to develop calmness and relaxation. This technique is built on the notion of putting mentally interfering concerns and stresses at a distance to prevent the polluting effect that these things can have on mental well-being. Yoga a spiritual meditation.

What is Yoga means that a concentration on your breath.

In the universe human body is the best body .Hume beings are the best living ones. He is the great from all the animals and spirits.

Some books are written that yoga is only about the body stretches and muscle angles some how it is true but not entirely. The original meaning of yoga is about spiritual mediation and concentration.

An ancient Indian guru named Patangali had done some experiments with yoga. He also invited us to do with him and enjoy the power of yoga. We are all known that yoga was borne in India. We have so many gurus and yoga teachers in India and also around the world. Some are teaching about the physical yoga but they are not teaching about the spiritual yoga. It takes you to good health and great concentration. Once you got it you will increase your life period.

If you concentrate on something a bunch of ideas can teach you about that thing. Same way a bunch of spiritual yogic ideas takes you close to the God, Almighty.

In yoga first you will get good concentration. If you concentrate on chemistry you will become a good chemist or scientist. If you concentrate on astrology you will become an astrologer. All depends upon your concentration. Same way if you concentrate on God he will be very close to you. He watches you and he will be with you always. When I concentrate on my words I know what I am telling to you. If you concentrate on my words you will better understand what I am saying or what I am trying to say.


In daily life if you take more butter and ghee you will become fatter and fatter. While in yoga if you take butter and ghee you will become thinner and thinner and thinner. That is the quality of yoga. So many people are going to some gyms and massage parlors for their fitness. In yoga you need not go any where. Your health becomes good. Your voice will be very sweet. Your knowledge is like library. You will listen some very strange sounds like bells. You well be as fair & handsome as rose.

So many people think that energy or a person is there after this universe. They thought that he rules the universe from there. They do prayers to him. Somehow it is true. Yoga also said that spiritual concentration takes you to reach the God.

One day I went to the foreign money transfer office in India to exchange my money. I saw a lady from England came there and she was studying book related to yoga in Sanskrit language, one of the ancient Indian languages. She asked me about some words which she wouldn’t understand in Sanskrit language. I wondered about her interest in yoga.

Now I am going to my main topic. People and animals that are having the spinal cord are eligible for this yoga. But animals doesn’t have that much knowledge to follow the rules and regulations, so both men and women are eligible for this yoga



Now I am just introducing the words Aum, Raja yoga, yogi and Pranayama, let me explain

1. What is Aum : It spells ooooaaamm.An ancient Indian spiritual word. If you speak it is the invitation for God and the angles from you.

2. What is Raja yoga: It is nothing but rules and regulations about yoga.

3. Who is yogi: Who performs daily yoga and follows the rules of yoga is called as yogi, a spiritual priest.

4. What is pranayama : It means that stop life in your body. If you stop it, you will live for a long time

Now I am going to explain how to start yoga and its main instructions.

First of all sitting and food are important to start yoga.

Sitting (Aasana):

Which type of sitting feels you happy and comfortable, are the best sitting for you. Most important thing in sitting is your spinal cord, neck and head should be vertical. If you practice it daily you will feel comfortable after some days.

Next your face must see the direction of east or north. So you have to sit in front of east or north. Please put your right palm on your left palm. Then starts breathe slowly and observe the breath. Practice it slowly for some days.
Best time to do yoga is early hours of the days. I prefer before sunrise, but there is no condition.
Please daily practice it for some days it will take some time to clean (fresh) your nerves.

Food:

The next item is about food. One day I went to zoo and I observed the elephants and the tigers. Elephants are so silent and they are taking their food i.e; bananas and leaves. But the other side tigers are roaring for their food and are not even sit at one place. They are hitting the fence with their claws and roaring loudly. Now you can observe that these are all because of food. Tigers are small when compared to elephant, but they are very rash because of food only.
You must take vegetables, grains and milk for some days at time of starting of yoga. What I am saying is don’t eat non-vegetable food for some days. After you become perfect, in yoga then up to your choice. What ever you want you can eat. Taking milk at regular basis is very helpful during yoga.

Who takes vegetable food would be the most intelligent than the other one.


A person who takes too much food never becomes a yogi; (who perfect in yoga).
Who oversleeps never becomes a yogi in his entire life.
Too much working person never becomes a yogi.
A person who has no work is not eligible for yoga.


Yoga and its important organs

Last article we had seen about Aasana and Food.

And this time we concentrate on some organs of yoga.

Ahimsa (Non -Violence):

Ahimsa means Non-violence. Always be kind to people, animals and living things.
Don’t feel happy by beating them. Never think about violence and never accept it in your mind also.

Swa-adyaya (Self study):

Please study always holy books and its related contents and keep it in your mind.
Some people trans your mind with their wonderful musical skills and add lovely music to their religion. They make their path in your mind very easily. Be strong with your mind and don’t fall in their hands, it is also like that a religion.

Satya(Truth):

Wherever you go in this universe there is some true and false. Please tell always truth and it will keep your mind fresh and happy. From the truth you will get everything. This universe belongs to truth only. There is so much power in truth. May be after some days what ever you tell that will become true in yoga.

Aparigraha:

Aparigraha means don’t accept any thing from any body. In problems also you don’t accept any thing from others. If you did it you have to live obey to them always. That will keep you out of freedom. You will live always bound by the others.

In the next article we will go for some more orgns of yoga.


Which is the best place for Yoga?

Don’t do yoga near the fire, in the water, near to wild animals, center of junctions, near loud noise, near bad people.

Select your self which place is good for your eyes. Main thing is do it always lonely.

Brhamcharya (Bachelor ism):

Be holy always in any condition. While performing for yoga your mind, your word and your work should be holy.
In student life people should away from sex and sexual thoughts.
Be holy is the Bachelor ism.


Astaya:

Astaya means don’t theft anything from any body. If you theft some thing, your heart fells sorry about you. You feel shy to talk with other people. Then your heart lose freedom and you disqualify for yoga.


Happy:

Be happy always. Feel happy to help other people.
Satisfy with what you had, that will keeps you very happy.


Saucha (Cleaning):

There are two types of cleaning. One is internal cleaning and other one is external cleaning.
Taking bath with water, sand etc. is called as external cleaning.
Holiness in your mind and thinking for good works are called as internal cleaning.
Internal cleaning is better one than the external cleaning.
In yoga you should have both internal and external cleaning.They are interlinked.



Tapah (Prayer):

Reading holy books and praying takes your heart and body near to God.
There are three kinds of prayers.
Prayer listen by the others is ordinary prayer.
Thinking meaning of the words of prayer is intermediate.
Prayer in your mind and concentration on God is the best prayer.

Always pray for other people and pray for world peace keeps you very near to God.



Don’t think that all the organs of yoga are separated. They are interlinked with each other. If you don’t follow the organs you ever qualify for yoga. They are heart of yoga.




Pranayama:

Prana means life and ayama means stopping business. It is an ancient Sanskrit word.
Pranayama means stopping life in body. You control your breath that is pranayama. If somebody thinks that life means breath it is wrong.

So we go for some brief discussion about what is life.

God first created sky. All the things, materials came from sky. Sky contains stars, planets, comets; etc. Sky has the gases, solids and liquids. Sky is human body, animal body and the trees. What ever you are seeing in his universe made from the sky.

So from what energy this sky converting as a universe that is life energy. This universe belongs to life. And this universe runs by life. So if you control life you will control this universe and the sky.

Now I am back to my main subject.

If you angry or excited you will take fast breath. If you are sleeping you will take slow breath. Here you observe that in rest your breath is slow and gap between one breath and the other breath is wide.
What you must observe here if you increase the gap between breaths you will feel more relief and rest.
If gap between the breaths at a perfect way that is called pranayama.

You rub one steel rod with a magnate from one end to another end. All the atoms in that steel rod forms in a way then that steel rod acts like magnate. In the same way if you form atoms of your body in a perfect way you will become a real magnate .i.e.; attractive and intelligent. In your case magnate is air and steel rod is your body. If you form your body atoms in a way by using air that is pranayama stopping life in body.
If you are become intelligent money automatically follows you.

In yogic language spinal card has two nerves.
Left part of the spinal card is called as Eeda nerve.
Right part of the spinal card is called as Pingala nerve.
Stream between these two nerves is called as Sushumana.
Upper part of this sushumana closes at head called as Sahasra.

Bottom part of this sushumana closes at a triangular shaped sensitive nerves area. This Triangular shaped part is called as Kundalini.

Please learn carefully all the above terms it is very impartment in yoga.

At which stage a person knows that he is also one of the nature, that person is sitting very near to God.

In the next post we will go for how to do Pranayama.


After practicing one or two months like what I said in post 3 ‘How to start yoga’, Then we go for Pranayama.

Please sit in front of east or north direction what I asked to sit in post 3 'How to start yoga'. One thing is must your spinal card, neck and head should be vertically. Please put your right palm in your left palm.

We have two parts in nose. I am using right part of nose is right nose and left part of nose as left nose.


Take breath slowly from left part of your nose (Eeda nerve way) and fill your lungs with air. While filling air you must concentrate your mind on that nerve way.
Then you think that you are taking this air to bottom part of your body i.e. triangular shaped kundalini area.
Please keep this air for some time at bottom part of your body. Then you think that you are generating some fire in that area. Now feel that you are taking out this fire through right part of nose (Pingala nerve way).Release this air through right nose slowly.

Use your right hand thumb to close your right nose while you taking breath through left nose. Use your right hand index finger to close your left nose while releasing air.

Taking air for 4 seconds, keeping air in your body for 16 seconds, releasing air for 8 seconds is called as Pranayama.
Do this pranayma 4 times daily in the morning and in evening. If you want to increase it you may go for 6 times with carefully.

Pranayama has its ratio 4: 16: 8
That is 1: 4: 2

Taking air in to body 1 part.
Keeping air in body 4 parts.
Releasing air for 2 parts.

Using this ratio you may increase it.
4: 16:8 is ordinary pranayama.
8: 32:16 is intermediate.
16:64:32 is the highest pranayama.

I must prefer ordinary pranayama at starting stage.

If you do it for several months you have lot of uses with it in your life. You would become very handsome and your voice will be very sweet. If you become perfect yogi, you will see entire universe with naked eye. You will get strong body and you didn’t have any disease in future. We are all know that be healthy is biggest prize in your life.

You are getting knowledge in yoga and that knowledge is helpful for doing yoga.

Warning: Don’t over do Pranayama yoga .It is very harmful when you over do it and it may causes some neck pains and body strains at starting stage.
Don’t do yoga when you are in sad mood, unhealthy, suffering from diseases.



Concentration:
Keep your mind on a particular object or subject (anything you like) for some time is called as Concentration.
Some people think that concentration is observing breath.May be it is also one of the way to develope concentration.

How to start Concentration?:

Go to a lonely peaceful place sit like what I said before posts and just don't think any thinng for some time. (preferably half an hour)
At the starting of concentration you haven't control your mind and thoughts.So many things will come to your mind when you are not thinking any thing.You will be surpraised about your thoughts.Their might be some wild thoughts and some funny thoughts and so many.

But good thing is after some days all things previously come to your mind will be disappear.Your mind will be very fresh.Once your mind is fresh what ever comes to your mind will be stable for a while.If any thing you observe, the thing only presents in your mind.This is the starting of Concentration and part of yoga.

Take any object or subject or seneary,(anything you like), in to your mind.Then concentrate on that particular thing.You will go deeply on to that particular subject when you are concentrating.
This will help you to evaluate the particular subject.

But don't use this method for bad purpose.Some craft people do like this.They will concentrate on behaviour of a person and read him quickly.Then they will control his body.They do some bad things to him.But I will not explain them , they are very very dangerious.
If you become very good in concentration you will get great powers.



Steps of Concentration:
Please note that concentration on a particular thing means that the thing you like to concentrate.( one particular thing).If you want success in concentration you may not be think about second thing when you are concentrating on a thing.
Step1:
Concentrate for 12 seconds is Dharana. ( 12 Sec. )
Step2:
12 times of Dharana is Dyana (12*12 sec.)=144 sec
Step3:
12 times of Dyana is Samadhi (tumbisium) (12*12*12 sec.)=1728 sec.

12*12*12 seconds of concentration on a thing is called as complete concentraion.At this stage you will observe only one thing that is your subject(any thing like).

Using this method people used to concentrate on god and blessed by him.
